Fashion store GRAND OPENING – Proceeds in support of LDANR!

Luis Pimentel, the owner of Siul Moda and founder of Lockport Sales & Services in Niagara, recently decided to venture into the clothing market, steered by his passion for fashion. Luis also believes in the importance of giving back to the community, and has decided to include a charitable component to his new business. With this, he has chosen the LDANR as his charity of choice due to his personal connection to our cause.
While a successful entrepreneur, Luis has struggled with dyslexia – a reading disability – his whole life.
Reading was never a task that came easy to Luis, however, despite his struggles, he persevered and capitalized on his creative strengths to achieve success. These reading struggles were actually the inspiration behind his logo, Siul (‘Luis’ spelt backwards). Luis hand-wrote this logo to represent his difficulty with processing letters, and is his way of bringing attention to an exceptionality that affects so many individuals. He is a true example of how individuals with learning disabilities can overcome obstacles and reach their potential, and we are so happy he chose to support the LDANR!
To celebrate the grand opening of his new store,the LDANR will be setting up a booth and selling Siul t-shirts for $25.00 and Siul ball caps for $20.00 with $10 of each sale going back to the LDANR!
