Every school board in Ontario is required to assemble a Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) to help advocate for the special educational needs of its students. These SEACs are comprised of representatives from various community organizations, school board trustees, and other education professionals.
As part of the LDANRs mission to be a leader in advocating for students with Learning Disabilities, we have a representative on both the District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) and Niagara Catholic District School Board (NCDSB) SEACs.
To help our agency better serve you and bring important issues to the committee meetings, we hope that you will provide us with any feedback about the special education services that your child is receiving at their school by answering the following questions.
If you have questions about our work on the SEACs, or about SEACs in general, please contact info@LDANiagara.org.
