Let’s READ, EXPLORE, AND DISCOVER!
Grades 2 – 4

Let’s R.E.A.D. is a small group literacy support program for children performing a minimum of one year behind in their reading due to a diagnosed or suspected learning disability (e.g., dyslexia). Children work on foundational literacy skills such as phonics, sight words, and fluency through fun, interactive games and activities. They also work on developing their self-regulation skills and have an opportunity to work one-on-one with a literacy instructor in the area of their greatest need.
COVID-19 Update:
Given the progression of the COVID-19 outbreak and the uncertainty surrounding the upcoming school year, the LDANR made the decision to continue our suspension of in-person programming. It has been determined that minimizing face-to-face interaction between our program participants, caregivers, and staff would be the best measure to ensure safety at this time.
Unfortunately, all Let’s R.E.A.D. program sites have been cancelled for the foreseeable future. Updates regarding the status of future Let’s R.E.A.D. sites will be added to this page once in-person programming resumes.
