Let’s READ, EXPLORE, AND DISCOVER!
Grades 2 – 4
Let’s R.E.A.D. is a small group literacy support program for children performing a minimum of one year behind in their reading due to a diagnosed or suspected learning disability (e.g., dyslexia). Children work on foundational literacy skills such as phonics, sight words, and fluency through fun, interactive games and activities. They also work on developing their self-regulation skills and have an opportunity to work one-on-one with a literacy instructor in the area of their greatest need.

Fall 2020 Update:
Given the progression of the COVID-19 outbreak and the uncertainty surrounding the upcoming school year, the LDANR made the decision to continue our suspension of in-person programming. It has been determined that minimizing face-to-face interaction between our program participants, caregivers, and staff would be the best measure to ensure safety at this time.
The LDANR Team have been working diligently to come up with creative solutions to continue to provide services to our program families during this challenging time. With this being noted, we will be offering an online reading program the Fall in place of our Reading Rocks and Let’s R.E.A.D. programs. To apply for this program, please visit the online program application page.
Updates regarding the status of Winter programming will be added to this page once details and plans have been confirmed.
