New Project Funded by OTF!
The Learning Disabilities Association of Niagara Region (LDANR) is pleased to announce that we will be piloting a new project this fall thanks to the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF)!
This project will support students in Grades 7 and 8 who have an identified or suspected learning disability. This program, accompanied by a series of caregiver workshops, aims to ease the transition to high school by equipping students with the necessary skills to navigate their new school environment and advocate for their learning needs. The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) is an agency of the Government of Ontario, and one of Canada’s leading granting foundations. OTF awarded $115 million to 644 project last year to build healthy and vibrant communities in Ontario.
We would like to thank the Ontario Trillium Foundation for their continued support of the LDANR’s projects and programs. With this funding, the LDANR can continue to expand our programs to provide support for children with learning disabilities in the Niagara Region.
