deeg’s place‘ is a tutoring service offering one-to-one and small group instruction for adults and teens with learning disabilities, specifically geared towards improving reading and spelling.

DSBN Adult Program

The District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) operates a program for adults (18+) who have a learning disability. There does not have to be an official diagnoses. This is an upgrading program, not a credit course.

The program is located at the Stokes Community Village at 36 Page Street, St. Catharines.

The program offers:

  • Assessment of skills
  • Assistance with reading, writing and math
  • Small group instruction
  • Links to further education and employment
  • Computer training
  • Assistance with employability skills

When: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.
